May 2, 2010: Kokopelli Grill, in the parking lot just above the Red Lion lobby, throws a Mardi Gras party with a DJ and full decor in their new underground party room. It happens on Wednesday, along with the play, the play after-party, the Cowboy/Americana themed lounge night at the hotel, so get ready to event-hop all night long. April 29, 2010: The staff of the Red Lion sponsors fun theme parties in the lounge every night. Check the schedule for great themes like "Always a Bridesmaid" and "Cowgirl Up". Don't spend the evenings in your room because the lounge is the hottest spot in Port Angeles with all the great outfits and friendly, curious locals who come to check out the fun for their first time and those who come back year after year to reconnect with attendees. April 26, 2010: Full details of the SO Program have been posted on Dotti Berry's page and summarized on the schedule. April 18, 2010: Due to scheduling conflicts with professional accreditation activities, Dr. Meltzer (GRS surgeon) sends his regrets and has withdrawn from Esprit. We are currently seeking another GRS surgeon to speak. April 18, 2010: Kylie Ellis of Steppin' Out Salon teaches basic makeup classes early in the week. Melissa White adds another session on prosthesis and wigs early in the week as well. April 16, 2010: Richard Stephens demystifies the sewing machine. April 15, 2010: Dr. Jennifer Burnett has been added to the schedule with a TS Healthcare and an HRT class. April 4, 2010: We are pleased to have Assistance Chief Dick Reed and Detective Kim Bogucki of the Seattle Police Department as our Saturday luncheon keynote speakers. They will give their perspectives on how the SPD is working for understanding, justice, and support of our community. We'll also have a fun auction with great gifts from our vendors and local businesses to raise money for the local Clallam County hospice. April 4, 2010: On the Wednesday Theater Night, you have your choice of heading back to the hotel after the play or being groupies and hanging out with the theater cast at their favorite watering hole. We heard that last year's afterparty was lots of fun! April 4, 2010: This is a friendly reminder that the daily Koffee Klatsch and orientation session is reserved for new girls only. April 4, 2010: Karen Sistek's silk scarf painting activity is scheduled for regular class times on Wednesday and Thursday. The Significant Others will go as a group on Wednesday at 3:30 so that slot will be busy.
