Cheryl Cristello

Cheryl Cristello, a professional engineer by education and experience, began her social transition May 20, 2006 at Esprit while riding her bicycle to Hurricane Ridge when she realized her truth: that she is transsexual, not a cross dresser. The road of transition has been bumpy, full of pot holes but extremely rewarding and satisfying for her. Cheryl is now retired, has three volunteer jobs, enjoys travel, cycling, backpacking, the ballet, reading, beading, and life.

The Realities of Transition

Jennifer Boylan once told Cheryl "Your story is yours and yours alone. My story is mine and mine alone. To the extent that our stories overlap, it is pure coincidence." Cheryl will share her personal story - the highs/lows, the joys/sadness, the positives and negatives - of living her truth openly and honestly as a trans woman. During this conversation attendees will be presented with points of consideration in developing their own stories.

ESPRIT, ESPRIT GALA and ESPRIT 2010 relate only to the yearly transgender conference
held in Port Angeles, WA. The conference and organization is not associated or connected
